I write a blog to express my beleifs and opinions and share my knowledge relevant to the movement of progressive Islam.
A lot of people - dismissing the entire point of reading the Qur'an - regard reinterpreting common beleifs is kufr.
I'm here to tell you that I beleive in the one true god and the last day, and I beleive in the truth and guidance behind
controversial verses like 4:34 or 7:81. The only distinction between me and the Muslims that call me a kafir for
considering verses for myself or not following hadith like Islamic law, is that I consider the Qur'an outside of the
normalised framework of hate and silencing and consider a more holistic interpretation, applying Muslim principles to
what would be seen as cut-and-dry for most Muslims.
